We, the children of caterpillars

Pools of liquid antimatter are forming and slowly devouring a small, isolated town in the middle of nowhere, turning all that it touches into a black void. Despite this, the local theatre company continues to prepare for their upcoming production. In the lead-up, everyone involved is forced to come to terms with the uncertain future of their home as it fades into obscurity and obsolescence. Do they stay and continue with their doomed production, or move on from what they know into something unfamiliar and unknown?
