James is a narrative film director and writer as well as video editor based in Melbourne/Naarm, Australia. A graduate from the Victorian College of the Arts (Film & Television), James is passionate about creating strongly collaborative work environments with other filmmakers and creatives as well as challenging the form of film to create visually unique, engaging and resonant Australian stories.

James is currently working on multiple projects in various stages of development including a short film that is post production, a collection of short stories and a feature film.
